Translator, PhD in Philology

Natalia Kalinina holds a Doctorate in Philology and a Master’s degree in Economics. She has extensive experience in higher education, academic administration, and professional translation and interpretation. From 2004 to 2019, Natalia served as Head of the Department of Foreign Languages at Odessa Christian Open University, overseeing faculty, curriculum development, and academic program management.

In 2010, she was appointed Vice-President of the American David Livingstone University of Florida (AUF, USA), a position she held until 2019, where she was responsible for educational policy, strategic planning, academic program accreditation, and fostering international collaborations. In 2017, Natalia expanded her professional scope by joining a Ukrainian maritime company as a translator and interpreter, handling a wide range of documents, including maritime, legal, and medical texts.
